Carcassonne (11). A 36-year-old man stabs another man to death with around fifty stab wounds. He has a “long record” including a murder conviction in 2016.
On Friday, August 29, at 10 a.m., a 46-year-old man died from stab wounds inflicted by the man in whose home he was staying.
The thirty-year-old, originally from the Nord department, had already been convicted of murder by the Nord Assize Court in 2016. He was therefore a man with a “long criminal record” , as Amélie Donnette describes him, that the police found when they arrived at the scene.
The alleged perpetrator of the stab wounds inflicted on the forty-year-old's chest, more than fifty according to our information, had been living in Carcassonne since 2024: accommodation organized as part of a follow-up linked to addictions. This is where he had been "hosting" the Carcassonne resident, a mere acquaintance, for several days.
